How to measure cabinet hardware?

To measure cabinet hardware like handles or pulls, you mainly need to know the center-to-center (C-C) measurement—the distance between the centers of the two screw holes. Here’s a quick guide:

For Pulls (Handles):
Measure from the center of one screw hole to the center of the other. This is usually given in millimeters or inches (e.g., 96 mm or 3-3/4").

Tip: Don’t measure the total length unless specified—it’s not the same as the center-to-center distance.

For Knobs:
No measuring is needed for hole spacing—just check the knob’s diameter and projection (how far it sticks out from the cabinet).

Stunning!

These were exactly as I hoped they'd be: well made and beautiful. It was also very easy to cut the screws down to size with a $18 tool from the hardware store. I affixed mine in I guess an unorthodox way, but I couldn't be happier.

I was very pleased with these knobs. It added the final touches to our entertainment center.

The only thing I would have appreciated would have been getting two types of screws - long or short. I ended up having to buy the screws that fit with my cabinet doors. The ones that came with the knobs were too long.
