How to measure cabinet hardware?

To measure cabinet hardware like handles or pulls, you mainly need to know the center-to-center (C-C) measurement—the distance between the centers of the two screw holes. Here’s a quick guide:

For Pulls (Handles):
Measure from the center of one screw hole to the center of the other. This is usually given in millimeters or inches (e.g., 96 mm or 3-3/4").

Tip: Don’t measure the total length unless specified—it’s not the same as the center-to-center distance.

For Knobs:
No measuring is needed for hole spacing—just check the knob’s diameter and projection (how far it sticks out from the cabinet).

They’re absolutely beautiful. They’re just a little slippery to pull on so you have to get used to the touch a really great upgrade to our master bathroom renovation.

We absolutely love our hardware. We took a chance and chose glass knobs with antique brass pulls and the combo looks fabulous. Heavy weight and high quality. The backing of the knobs are European (and I didn’t know what that meant until I got them) but be prepared to cut down the long screw or have a professional do it like I did! They are metric so you can’t just replace with regular knob backings we are accustomed to. Super happy with the hardware. Beats Restoration Hardware prices and honestly has way more character than main stream retailers. Great find!!
