How to measure cabinet hardware?
To measure cabinet hardware like handles or pulls, you mainly need to know the center-to-center (C-C) measurementâthe distance between the centers of the two screw holes. Hereâs a quick guide:
For Pulls (Handles):
Measure from the center of one screw hole to the center of the other. This is usually given in millimeters or inches (e.g., 96 mm or 3-3/4").
Tip:Â Donât measure the total length unless specifiedâitâs not the same as the center-to-center distance.
For Knobs:
No measuring is needed for hole spacingâjust check the knobâs diameter and projection (how far it sticks out from the cabinet).
