How to measure cabinet hardware?

To measure cabinet hardware like handles or pulls, you mainly need to know the center-to-center (C-C) measurement—the distance between the centers of the two screw holes. Here’s a quick guide:

For Pulls (Handles):
Measure from the center of one screw hole to the center of the other. This is usually given in millimeters or inches (e.g., 96 mm or 3-3/4").

Tip: Don’t measure the total length unless specified—it’s not the same as the center-to-center distance.

For Knobs:
No measuring is needed for hole spacing—just check the knob’s diameter and projection (how far it sticks out from the cabinet).

Modern Jewelry

We just installed a modern "floating style" cabinet into our foyer to use for mudroom storage. We wanted a handle that would feel modern and look like jewelry. I brought home a similar high-end version of this style from a local vender. Then I found these online. At first I only ordered two of the 8" size—just to make sure the quality was nice. They arrived and felt exactly like the high-end version—so we ordered the rest! They look and feel amazing!!! Exactly the look I was going for. Now I am considering ordering more for some of our closet doors around the house. One of my favorite surprises about this style is that the lucite doesn't show fingerprints! They always look beautiful! :-)
